A grain mix for growing and finishing show lambs. Now updated with
Actigen, an all-natural product for improved digestive health and animal
performance. This feed should be fed to sheep only. Contains high quality
ingredients along with adequate high quality fiber sources to help maintain gut
function. Also for prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria ovina, Eimeria
crandalis, Eimeria ovinoidalis (Eimeria ninakohlyakimovae), Eimeria parva, and
Eimeria intricata in sheep maintained in confinement. Medicated with Bovatec
(Lasalocid) at 30 grams/ton. Crude Protein min 18.0%, Crude Fat min 3.5%, Crude
Fiber max 12.0%, Contains Actigen – a proprietary yeast product that promotes
improved gut health and performance. Feed continuously at the rate of 1 to 4.66
lbs to provide not less than 15 mg nor more than 70 mg per head per day of
lasalocid depending on bodyweight. Each pound of this ShowLamb feed contains 15
mg of lasalocid. Clean fresh water and Augusta sheep mineral should be made
available on a continuous basis. A small amount of hay should be provided
separately at all times. Sheep should be kept on a recommended deworming and
vaccination program including enterotoxemia. Refer to the product label for
complete instructions and nutrient analysis. DO NOT Feed To Horses Or Other
Equines. Ingestion of Monensin or Lasalocid by equines has been fatal. This feed
contains medication. Please read label carefully.
