Miranda Payne

Miranda Payne – a Fauquier County, Virginia native – developed a passion for the agriculture and the farming industry at an early age by participating in registered Angus livestock exhibitions. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Virginia Tech in 2018.

Miranda started her professional career as a Retail Intern at Culpeper Co-op in the summer of 2018. In 2019, she began working at Southern States Co-op as a Management Trainee before being promoted to Assistant Manager. In June 2021, Miranda joined Augusta Co-op as a Management Trainee and quickly advanced to the role of Assistant Manager by September 2021. In January 2023, she was appointed Store Manager at the Staunton location. In her spare time, Miranda enjoys helping others with their cattle as well as taking care of her own.
