Local area youth recently participated in the 2009 Virginia State Fair just north of Richmond in Ashland, VA.  This year's State Fair was a new experience for all youth as the State Fair had its inaugural opening at its new home at the Meadow Event Park in Caroline County.  Shows were held in new livestock facilities with more facility improvements being planned for next year.  Congratulations to all youth that participated!  Below are some of the local youth that participated.
